Aplpt Preps For Tasmania
The Australian Poker League has been hosting one series after another in 2022. The APL Poker Tour hosted its January series in Queensland, February in Melbourne, and March in Sydney. Players are returning to the tables in significant numbers, and that was the case again in Queensland in April.
Big Queensland Goals
When the APL Poker Tour hit Southport Sharks in January, players found 21 tournaments. The hope was to pay out at least $500K in prize money, and they did just that. They paid $548,075 in total.
The return to Southport Sharks in April put up the same $500K estimate. This time, though, there were 23 events on the schedule. It was set for 7-10 April with buy-ins of $60 to $2,500. Organizers hoped to eclipse the total from the January stop and keep growing.
